Easter was so much fun this year. Matthew's mom called and asked if we were coming up there to spend time with them for Easter, he said no so she said, "Well, then we are on our way down there." So, Matt and I went
to Walgreen's and bought Easter eggs and goodies so that we could have an Easter egg hunt in our apartment for Don and Debi. A few of the eggs had Tums in them, Sudafed, Dayquil, and quarters...the rest had Snicker's and M&Ms in them. We made them little
baskets with a chicken that poops out Peanut M&Ms, and a bunny that rides a bike. Needless to say, it was awesome. They loved it. Debi kept stealing eggs from Don's basket when he wasn't looking. It was hilarious.
wine...it was so delicious.
funny. I had to work Monday morning at 4am and we stayed up playing that game till 10pm, so Matthew and I are dragging this week, but it was so worth it. So, that was our Easter Sunday. Hope everyone else had a great Easter as well.

Matthew's monkey with a banana, that apparently came out of a coconut tree...hahaha.
Hanging out with Shawn and Diana was a blast. I wish they didn't live so far away. They live in Huntington Beach so we rarely get to see them. But this summer they are staying at the lake while they are out of school. Super stoke about that. We are going to have so much fun at the lake with them. Anyways, they came down and stayed the night last night and we went to Casey's for dinner, delicious. Shawn and Matthew got pretty drunk and Diana and I got nice and buzzed... we played board games and did some Wii bowling. LOL....it was pretty much hilarious. Well, their Spring Break is almost over, so they had to head back up to the lake to study for their mid-terms on Monday, but it was so nice of them to come visit us. We will for sure being doing it again sometime.
Today, Matthew and I played Boggle and Monopoly...now usually, we can play games...any game...EXCEPT Monopoly. Hahaha. So, here is the deal, way back when, we didnt have internet or TV and so we played games and stuff to keep ourselves entertained. It was so much fun, except when we played Monopoly. We mutually decided that Monopoly was a game to stay away from if we wanted our relationship to last. (hahaha, not that we would end it over a game, but you know what I mean).
Well, today, we played Monopoly. It was fun, we played it and no one get mad, we didnt really finish, because lets face it, the game lasts an eternity. But we played for a good 1.5 hours. We are about to go to the store to get Turbo Tax and a few other things, we were going to get Taboo or
Password, or some game like that, but Randi has Apples to Apples and it going to bring that over to play tonight. My mother in law is going to let us have her Password game and Pictionary. Anyway, I cant wait for tonight. The Randies are seriously the best couple in this town. They are honest down to earth people. I have been feeling down the past two days, but I think game night is just what I need.
Im happy, and to this very day...he still gives me butterflies. Everything in the life has a purpose, although we may not understand why things happen the way that they do, they do happen and everything seems to be exactly how it should be. Im not perfect, I never claim to be, but in his eyes Im perfect for him, and my
heart beats a strong & steady beat because of him. We are two souls bonded as one. He is my everything. I never have, and never will, in all my life, take him for granted. I dont know if he quite understands just how much he means to me. I wake up every morning still amazed at how lucky I am. I am the one that gets to wake up and look at that face of an angel, I get to look into his eyes and without even a whisper we say, "I love you." Every season is beautiful because I have him there to enjoy the changes with me. I used to hate the winter because it was cold and dead, now
I look at it in a totally different aspect...its warm when I am by a fire with him under the blankets, its not dead at all, actually its a begining...those flowers and trees are just sleeping until the spring comes around and we can watch them come back full and lush together. These are our special dates for now...someday we will have added to this list. Someday we will bring beautiful children into this crazy world, and together we will get them ready for
life on their own. We will prepare them to be strong yet sensitive so that they can have what we have together. Thats my next mission in life...I dont think this challenge will be too much for me, my first mission was to find someone I wanted to spend my life with and love and be loved forever. Mission accomplished...
